Costs

We offer affordable family law representation at Flud Law. The cost of legal services in today’s world is exorbitant. At Flud Law, we believe people should not have to spend their life savings or drain their retirement funds to receive quality legal representation. We strive to keep our costs reasonable and affordable to the everyday person. We will keep you informed of the costs of your case, both current and upcoming, as we move through the legal proceedings. We know your money is important to you, so it is important to us as well.

Family law cases at Flud Law are handled on an hourly fee basis. That means as we work on your family law matter, we charge you an hourly fee. During our initial consultation, we will discuss the details of your case, and, at the end of the consultation, Mr. Flud will quote you a retainer amount. The quoted retainer is an initial, upfront deposit you place with the firm in order to retain us as your lawyer. We put your retainer deposit in trust. As we work on your case, we charge our hourly fee against the retainer, and the retainer amount reduces over time. At the end of each month, we will send you an invoice detailing the work done on your case that month, the amount charged, and how much remains in your retainer.
